Your home and garden are your private palace to do with as you choose, no matter what anyone else has to say about it. It is one place in your life where you can have full control (unless hubby really cares THAT much about decorations). Sometimes changing a few minor things can really spruce the place up, or give it a whole new feel to you. For example, when I get a new set of sheets, I absolutely LOVE my bed and snuggling up in my Crosill bedding as if I had just bought it yesterday. A little color or pattern change can make a world of difference. This is a free decor change for me, as I own three sheet sets already. Maybe an alternate set of comforters or downs could totally recreate the feel of your bedroom as well.
Lighting changes can make a world of difference as well. Is your lighting ample? Does it provide the ambiance you are looking for? Is your foyer or mudroom dark and dreary to greet your guests? I recently found great prices on Thomas lighting options. I am particular to victorian chandeliers, but alas it does not match my decor at the present.
Another unique and creative garden idea I came across is finding a garden seat. You know, one of those small benches with a pretty little plant right next to you. This may not be ideal for your vegetable gardening, unless you’re growing some pretty herbs mayhaps, but you can spruce up your deck or patio with something offbeat that is sure to catch attention, such as an elephant table or a funky garden seat.

My planting area is kind of small would this be feasible with less space?
